CORS Vancouver is a local chapter of the Canadian Operational Research Society based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Our mission is to provide a forum for Operations Research students, academic faculty, and business professionals to meet and share best practice and innovations. In addition, we aim to increase the general awareness of Operations Research and its applications within the wider community of the Greater Vancouver area.

Happy New Year to all our CORS Vancouver members.

To kick off 2009 we will be hosting a member’s dinner on Thursday 22nd January at the Fish House restaurant in Vancouver, and we are busy planning seminars and events for 2009. We’re aiming to run 2 or 3 events this year, details of which will be posted via this website as they are confirmed.

If you have any contacts who would like to present to the CORS Vancouver chapter, or if there are any particular subjects you are interested in, please contact us with your suggestions and we’ll try and work them into our 2009 programme.
