CORS Vancouver is a local chapter of the Canadian Operational Research Society based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Our mission is to provide a forum for Operations Research students, academic faculty, and business professionals to meet and share best practice and innovations. In addition, we aim to increase the general awareness of Operations Research and its applications within the wider community of the Greater Vancouver area.

We would like to thank Dr. Saba Vahid, the outgoing Treasurer for several years of dedicated service to our chapter and welcome Mrs. Claudia Cambero who joined the Vancouver Chapter board as the Treasurer in 2013.

To wrap up 2012, we will be hosting a member’s dinner on Wednesday 12th December at Nuba restaurant in Vancouver.

We would like to thank Dr. Paul Christensen the outgoing Vice President for several years of dedicated service to our chapter and society and welcome Dr. Abraham Punnen who joined the Vancouver Chapter board as the Vice President in 2012-2013.
